Fantastic array (and arrangement) of foods of all kinds at the 139 year old Adelaide Central Markets. The cheese and small goods stalls were pretty impressive also.
Blown away by this house when we drove the Great Ocean Road a while ago, but didn’t get a photo then. Now we’re tripping it again with Katie and managed to stop nearby for a pic. Suspended 40 metres above the road at Fairhaven Beach, it’s the most photographed house on the Great Ocean Road, probably Australia, and was featured on their Grand Designs a few years ago.
The Ozmobile has been pimped with speed stripes, motor serviced and new brakes fitted in preparation for the 5,000Km Victoria Highway from Darwin west to Perth, via Kakadu National Park. Although it's no longer than our previous Ford Transit camper van, an interior layout that is better designed makes this motor home much more convenient than our previous NZ vehicle. We are managing not to get under each other's feet (or skin!)
The pause that refreshes, when it's 40 degrees. This superb pool overlooks Lake Argyle, Australia's biggest man made waterway above the Ord River irrigation dam. An engineering masterpiece from the Think Big era, the scheme has enabled huge agriculture development in this tropical part of WA.
